Objectives

Professionalism is of vital importance for Bigfoot in the achievement of corporate growth and success. It is therefore imperative for the Company to uphold certain standards of skills, competence and character for all its employees. The Employee Handbook is designed to clearly define these standards.

Further, it is required for the proper guidance and compliance of all employees to maintain discipline and order, as well as ensure that there is fairness and equity in the imposition of the sanctions and penalties for committing violations against the Company, its property, staff, stockholders and clients.

Implementation

The sanctions and penalties are imposed to ensure adherence to the standards; hence the purpose is to correct unacceptable conduct rather than to serve as a reprisal or a display of power and authority.

Due process must be safeguarded at all times. The investigation and consideration of cases must always be conducted with impartiality and objectivity. Finally, imposition/ application of sanctions or disciplinary actions must be done with consistency, uniformity and fairness.
